  • Transient Electromagnetic Instrument Engineering Case II

    1. Purpose of detection

    In a coal company in Shaanxi, the transient electromagnetic method was used to detect the headway of 50601 beltway. The main purpose of the task is to carry out the underground transient electromagnetic method for the head of the roadway, to investigate the anomalous distribution of water in the range of 100m in front of the head of the roadway, and to provide a reference basis for the mine's safe production and the design of the underground water exploration and discharge.

    4. Conclusion

    As can be seen from the overrunning fan diagram of digging in the direction of elevation angle 30°, the apparent resistivity is relatively low in the rock layer of 60-80m in the top plate of the roadway in front of the roadway with an elevation angle of 30° and a detection distance of 20-80m. In the left side gang 0°-15° angle, detection distance in 20-80m, local apparent resistivity is lower; vertical direction of digging ahead fan diagram can be seen in the roadway roof 20-100m rock layer apparent resistivity is relatively low. It can be presumed that there is a small amount of sandstone water in the top plate of the transportation channel, and the wetness of the left gang is caused by the infiltration of sandstone water.
